Support » Everything else WordPress » Anchor links not working as expected

  • Hello,

I dont know if am right here, but perhaps someone can help me. I configured a onepage site with anchors. But in the menu I have links to different sites. I can configure that an active menu link should be black. When I am on the onepage site, the anchors are working an the menu link goes black when I am on the part of a certain anchor. But the links are only working, as long I am on that spefic site (www.robertopereira.ch/onepage).

When I go to another site (www.robertopereira.ch/blog), the links with anchors related to onepage are not working anymore. I have to change the menu link from #anchor to http://www.robertopereira.ch/onepage/#anchor. But then all menu items related to onepage are black and showed as active.

Can you help me to solve this problem? why is the menu active color not working, when I change the link the whole domain?

    Thank you,
    Roberto

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Have you already solved this? Because the links all work for me and I don’t see the incorrect colouring of the links either.

    hi threadi

the problem is still there. It is only visible on Desktop with full menu. When you click on a link other then blog, all links are black but only the active part should be shown as black in the menu. When I scroll down, all menu items are black.

Ah, I’ve just realised that you mean the menu at the top. I always went via the footer.

The reason for the black colouring is a CSS specification that defines exactly that. This is set via the ElementorsKit Lite plugin, which is why I would recommend that you contact their support for clarification: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementskit-lite/
