I’m having trouble tapping text elements while editing pages in the WP app on Android 12. App version 23.2-rc-1.

When I do so, the cursor doesn’t move to the tapped location, but sometimes it does and sometimes the block won’t even receive the tap.

You can see in the video below that I’m repeatedly tapping the block, but only some of the times the cursor moves.

This has now been reported to our developers. Since you’re using a beta version, this issue will probably be fixed in the next stable version of the app.

It isn’t mentioned in the “what’s new” on the Play Store (updated 10-20-2023), but it seems to be working now.
