Can’t update plugins, -1 error

    I have a number of plugins that say they need updating and have been trying to install Elementor pro. Every time I try, I just get errors that say “-1” and I have no idea what that means, no idea how to get around it. Help?

    Hi @sohaib578,

    Before you install Elementor Pro, there must be an Elementor-free version already installed. Also, make sure you have the latest backup of your website before you update all the plugins, since you have a lot to be updated, like what you just said.

    Check for plugin conflicts that may be causing the issue.

    • Deactivate or uninstall Elementor Pro first.
    • Deactivate the Elementor-free version.
    • Try to update the active plugins one by one.
    • Once done, activate the element-free version.
    • Lastly, upload, install, and activate your Elementor Pro.
